Dr Arne Klüwer is a partner in the Frankfurt office and Head of Banking and Finance Germany as well as Head of Structured Finance Europe. He provides legal advice on a broad range of transactions from the structuring and implementation of a variety of structured finance transactions over workouts and complex restructurings to loan trading transactions.

Arne’s experience ranges from the arrangement and securitisation of loans (including CMBS), over the securitisation of trade and consumer receivables, inflation-indexed hereditary building rights and to the structuring and implementation of complex portfolio transactions, including advising various transaction parties on the sale, the acquisition and the financing of NPLs and other non-core assets.

Dr Matthias Eggert is a partner in Dentons’ Munich office and a member of the Banking and Finance group. Matthias focuses on structured finance. His scope of advice includes securitisation of loans (including CMBS and RMBS) and trade receivables, a wider range of lending transactions and restructuring financing transactions. Matthias also advises on portfolio transactions as well as the financing of such transactions. His clients include banks, borrowers and FinTech companies. Matthias recently advised a FinTech company on the set up of a supply chain financing platform as well as on various supply chain financing programs which are handled via this platform.

Dr Kai Goretzky is a partner in Dentons’ Frankfurt office and part of the European Insurance Hub, which is part of Dentons' Eurozone Hub. He advises banks and funds on the investment requirements of insurers and has experience in insurance-related M&A transactions.

He has also focused on insurance contract law, the IDD and supervisory law, as well as the specific compliance issues of the insurance industry. He advises international insurers and intermediaries on entering the German insurance market as well as small and medium-sized insurers under Solvency II. Another focus of his practice is the digitization of the insurance industry.
