Andrea Flunker has more than 17 years of experience in the field of Structured Finance and Securitisation services in Germany and the UK. She leads regulatory and accounting advisory projects for originators, investors and sponsors in various synthetic and true sale transactions. Her other focus is on sustainability reporting. In particular, she leads consulting projects on the implementation of the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and the Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR). In addition, she is responsible for assurance services on sustainability reportings or non-financial statements and post-allocation reports in connection with green bond issuances. Furthermore, she leads the Europe-wide Deloitte working group on the implementation of Art. 8 Taxonomy Regulation for banks, insurance companies and asset managers.

For many securitisations and other structured finance transactions, accounting or regulatory aspects are the key drivers. We help our clients – originators, arrangers, investors and sponsors – to align their planned structures with accounting or regulatory requirements.
Based on our ten-year experience with securitisations in Germany, we also support securitisation project management and valuation of ABS-investments.

Investors need confidence that their interests are represented in complex securitisation transactions. We offer various functions to safeguard investors’ interests and are proud to be the market leader in providing transaction trustee services in Germany.
 

Data Integrity

Data integrity is a crucial factor in securitisation and other structured finance transactions. Only if the data that forms the basis for the cash flow model or that is disclosed in the Offering Circular (OC) is reliable, will the entire transaction be trustworthy. We offer a range of services that are designed to check and monitor data integrity.
 

Expertise

Deloitte Securitisation Services Germany started business in 1998 – right at the inception of securitisation in Germany – and has since been involved in nearly 200 transactions. The transactions include synthetic and true sale structures with revolving and static pools, various asset classes, short-term and long-term financing.

Deloitte Securitisation Services Germany is an active member of the global service line "Securitisation Services" of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, in which more than 40 Deloitte member firms cooperate worldwide. On this basis, we provide the benefit of international knowledge exchange to our clients and render professional cross-border services.
